Games such as Pokemon Go and PUBG Mobile have over one billion downloads which is frankly ridiculous. It has expanded the gamer base as people who normally wouldn’t play computer games are comfortable playing games on their phones. With these advancements in technology, people are picking up mobile games more than ever. Mobile phones now play games that would have been considered AAA back in the day and can handle graphics that would have only been a wild dream a few years ago. The mobile gaming market has also grown exponentially, with reports valuing the space at about $98bn in 2020 and projections predicting that it will only grow bigger by the end of this decade. Now with such powerful mobile phones, we can play a lot more than Snake or Tetris on our devices. Mobile games have come such a long way from their humble beginning way back in 1994.
